I'm obsessed. By what? By Hotaru, what a
question! My friends are bored of me. I always talk about her (poor them!). But she's so
beautiful! She's so perfect! I really like her. Why? What an idiot question. But here is
the answer: I-DON'T-KNOW. She has a little Je-ne-sais-quoi that makes her so pretty that
the first time I saw her, I said to myself: she will be my new idol. I haven't read much
about her at first, but by this time, I started to like her. To love her. To idolise her.
To worship her. Then I started a little web page, around Christmas 1997. In French. I had
only two pages of pictures. Every time I saw a new sailor Saturn picture (or other related
character) I saved it and put it into my gallery. Now, I have near than 550 pictures, with
their respective thumbnails. Yahoo. When I didn't know Sailor Saturn, I used to love
Sailor Moon. But the biggest I knew about Hotaru, the more boring became Sailor Moon.

Every time I have the chance to go in
Montreal China town, I'm always looking for Saturn Stuff. Hey, I dreamed that I was buying
a keychain and some Saturn puzzle! I dreamed it! I'm not obsessed at all… ^_^ Every
single thing I find with Hotaru, having cash or not, I buy it. But there's nothing!!!
No-thing. Not a doll, not a dream pocket, not a puzzle or a keychain, not a candle…
Just few stickers. And THE poster (it took me almost a year to find it but I have it now!
I'm so proud!!) I only have few cards in my collection (something about 5) but I have the
most beautiful, in my opinion. You know, the one where we see Hotaru in her school
uniform… Conclusion: there's almost nothing about Hotaru in Quebec. Boouhooouhoou!!!!
Snif snif. I've never seen ANY of the episodes from Sailor Moon S. ANY! Because they don't
pass the episodes from 111 to 127 here. What a frustrating situation. I can console myself
in viewing again and again my collection of AVI and MOV (which takes a lot of place: over
200 MB). But I admit... Not a long time ago, when I went in the China Town, guess what I
found! YES! A video tape with Hotaru! So I add to my collection a video tape of Sailor
Moon Star, the two first episodes. I have a collection of movies, sounds, midi, mp3 and a
big big bunch of images. I love mp3, they are superbs. And January 3th is my
birthday (3 days before Hotaru… My mother couldn't forbear herself a little bit
longer??) |

This is my obsession. I draw her everywhere (even on my school
desks… oops!) And I hope I will have the chance to have the subtitled Sailor Moon S
tapes. I think I would cry of happiness!
