The opposite is Sailor Mercury. We see in her eyes that Amy is the antonym of a bad girls. She has the shy-type eyes. These eyes are half-rounds turned towards the exterior.

I always start with the left eye (I'm left-handed)
1^st Dram a stubbed out hexagon -fig. 1
2^nd Erase 3 lines (see fig. 2)
3^rd Draw a small line from the very left that goes towards the centre of the eye. - fig. 3
4^th Draw the pupil: a round. - fig. 4
5^th Don't forget those beautiful eyelashes fig. 5
6^th Draw another line above the eye (the skin line), rounder than the hexagon. - fig. 6
7^th Draw 2 lights reflects (a big circle and a small triangle) and colour the pupil (let the reflects white) - fig. 7
8^th You have your left eye - do the opposite for the right eye. Calculate an eye size between the two. - Fig. 8

Note: If you want that your Hotaru looks younger, just rise the nose; draw it higher, nearer of the eyes.

A mouth is so easy… Do it like you feel. For my drawings, I prefer a almost straight line than a very curved one. (fig. 13-14)

1^st Start by the front, a little bit higher than the eyes. Draw down slowly and make a concave shape at the eyes level.
2^nd Draw little bump for the cheek.
3^rd At the level of the mouth, draw lines in your head like in the fig. 18
4^th Trace the chin in the limits of the invisible lines.

1^st a little bit lower than your front pale line, draw two curved lines.

2^nd Add more hairs to the quiff but never draw the lines higher than your two first curved lines. (fig. 20)
3^rd Draw the skeleton of the hair (fig. 21)
4^th Draw Hotaru's neck
5^th Smooth the hair lines and draw some curved triangles in the lower part of the hair. (fig. 22)

The ears

1^st erase the concave shape at the level of the eyes
2^nd draw the ears from the half; start from the quiff and go until you reach the face line.
